Brush Cleaner
Brush cleaner reconditions old, hard brushes and is harmless to nylon or natural bristle brushes. It cleans brushes used with oil-based and latex paints, varnishes and shellac. Cleaners of this type have applications that include oil-based paint, varnish or polyurethane application tools; latex paint, lacquer, epoxy and shellac application tools; painting tools with dried coatings and new wood before refinishing. Paint and varnish brush cleaners are also used to degrease bare metal, rubber linoleum and plastic, as well as for etching concrete or brick.
Liquid Deglosser
This product softens old paint and varnish to produce a slight tackiness that helps new finishes bond securely to old ones. This excellent cleaner removes heel marks, smudges, pencil marks, wax, grease and oil. Liquid deglossers can be used to clean oil-based paint, varnish or polyurethane application tools; lacquer, epoxy and shellac application tools; painting tools with dried coatings; new wood before refinishing and oil coatings before refinishing. Liquid chemical deglossers are also used to degrease bare metal, rubber linoleum and plastic, and for etching concrete or brick.
Muriatic Acid
This 20° Baumé hydrochloric acid solution is ideal for cleaning and etching concrete, stone, brick, mortar and tile. It attacks most paints, varnishes, fabrics, metals, plastics and many other materials. Muriatic acid can be diluted with water.
